Today, I would like to talk to you about Google Ads and share a real win that we’ve had for one of our clients.
I’m pretty stoked and pretty happy for them. I wanted to share these stats with you because I was quite encouraged by the results when I compared them when we took over their Ads campaign in November 2020 through January 2021.
This particular client has been doing Google Ads for a very, very long time. It’s very much part of their marketing strategy, and he was looking for a bit of change and wanting to see some improvements in his campaign.
So, let’s look at a comparison between October when he was with the previous agency and January, three months after working on his campaign.
- In October, he was spending $2422.88 per month. And in January, he spent only $1,506.09. We have reduced his Google ads spend every month.
- In October, he was getting 211 clicks, and in January, he was getting 1711 clicks with a lower budget.
- Conversions in October was 10. Conversions with a lower budget (remember we saved him nearly $1000 every month) increase his conversions to 24.
- The average cost per click was $11.48 in October and $0.88 in January. Because we significantly reduced his average cost per click, this meant his impressions increased from 6,500 in October to a staggering 150,849 in January.
- The cost per conversion dropped quite significantly for him as well.
What does this show us? He is now spending a much lower budget on Google Ads, and he is receiving better conversions.

In this instance, we’ve been able to save this client close to $1000 every month. Imagine what you can do with that extra $1000 every single month. You may be able to start to run some Facebook marketing. You may be able to run an SEO campaign if all you’ve been doing is focusing on Google Ads.
One of the best things you can do for your business is to have a nice, broad, robust marketing campaign. Don’t just throw all your eggs in one basket.
These are fantastic stats that we’ve been able to achieve for this client. But keep in mind, this client has a very broad and very robust marketing campaign, which I love because what that means is you’re actually creating multiple touchpoints for people. They see you in multiple places, and it gives you so many more opportunities to connect with your target market.
